After a 16 month search on behalf of very discerning and experienced clients Popeye proved to be the best LNVT 38 on the market. With a solid core, the preferred Perkins engine and new exterior paint she held good value for the new owners with some room left over to make her their own.
Post closing, Le Cap broke down and loaded her onto a low-boy trailer for the drive from San Diego to Rockland, Maine. It was her 3rd trip cross-country and by chance the second by the same trucker! After two consecutive winter refits, first at Journeys End, then Lyman Morse to bring her back to bristol condition she was renamed Dolly and has been exploring Penobscot Bay ever since. The owners love her and so do the grandkids!
